Kim Kardashian and Kanye West 'make $113k deal to hire surrogate for third child



Kim Kardashian, 36, and musician husband Kanye West, 40, have reportedly hired a a surrogate to have their third child.

TMZ reports that the deal will cost the couple $113,850 - a decision the pair have made since discovering that Kim suffered from placenta accreta - a condition that makes another pregnancy life-threatening.

It's thought that the couple have used an agency to source a surrogate, and that they will pay her the $45k in 10 monthly instalments of $4,500; The initial deposit for this, that the married couple will pay the surrogate's agency, is said to be a whopping $68,850.
TMZ also states that, should the pregnancy produce more than one child, the surrogate will receive an additional $5k per extra child ($5k extra for twins, $10k extra for triplets and so forth).

If the surrogate loses reproductive organs during the process, she will be paid $4k, it is reported.

With the surrogacy comes the conditions that the employed woman doesn't smoke, drink alcohol, take drugs and not have sexual intercourse in the weeks leading up to the pregnancy.

This also includes refraining from sex for 3 weeks following embryo implantation.

The surrogate is banned from hot tubs or saunas, can't go near cat litter, won't be allowed to apply hair dye, can only have one caffeinated beverage per day or consume raw fish.

TMZ goes on to report that the agreement provides that Kim and Kanye 'assume the legal and parental responsibilities for any child... that may possess any congenital or other abnormalities or defects'.
