Following the incessant killing of Christians in the Northern part of Nigeria by members of Boko Haram sect, some 'misguided' Southerners have already begun series of reprisal attacks against Muslims in their areas.
A mosque was set on fire at Kings Square in Benin, while a popular Bureau De Change building was also set ablaze. So far, those who have been killed are said to be about four.
Sources say over 10,000 Northerners, who live and do business in the southern cities of Asaba, Port-Harcourt, Owerri, Onitsha, Warri, Uyo, Calabar, Benin, were seen on heavy trucks and luxury buses heading to the Northern part of Nigeria.
They are said to be leaving the South for fear of been caught up in the reprisal attacks.
