Kanye West bitter feud with Jay-Z reportedly stemmed from his 'frustration' that Kim Kardashian is not closer friends with Beyoncé.

Sources claimed West was 'forcing' his wife on the Carters so they could have a better relationship - but alleged that Beyoncé had little in common with her.

It comes amid claims that the 40-year-old rapper furious rant onstage nine months ago caused the fall-out with his former BFF.'[Kanye's] rant was really about Kim and Beyoncé not being BFFs. Kanye is frustrated that his wife does not have a better relationship with Beyoncé,' an insider told Page Six.

The source added that Kanye wanted to put 'pressure' on Jay-Z to get their wives to be friends - but claimed the relationship would not have been 'organic' or 'real'.

'Beyoncé is a Southern, God-fearing woman, despite what you may see when she's entertaining. She may not have much in common with Kim,' they said.

Another insider suggested to the publication that the two rappers' friendship could be salvaged despite the bitter history - and they might even be able to work together in the future.
