Kanye West Says Is Responsible For His Mother's Death

Kanye West and Donda West

Poor Kayne West! His mother, Donda West, passed away in 2007 and the tragedy continues to haunt him every day. In a new interview, Kanye revealed that, though she died from heart disease, he blames himself for her death!

This is sad! While Kanye West, 38, has achieved incredible success in love and life, the devastating loss of his mother, Donda West, still weighs heavily on Yeezy’s heart. Donda’s passing may have affected him more than anyone thought, because the “All Day” rapper confessed he thinks he’s responsible for her death!Kanye revealed this personal detail while speaking with Q magazine for their August issue, reports the Daily Mail. Donda passed away due to heart disease following a surgical procedure in 2007. But, Kanye said the fault for her death rests solely on his own shoulders!

“If I had never moved to LA, she’d be alive,” Kayne said. When asked to explain further as to what he meant by that, Yeezy said “I don’t want to go far into it because it would bring me to tears.”

Aww — that makes us want to cry! Kanye clearly misses his mother, as his song, “Only One,” is a tribute to her. Before that, Kanye shared a heartbreaking Mother’s Day message in 2014, saying “Hi Mom” while looking up at the sky. Plus, both he and wife, Kim Kardashian, decided to honor her, and Kim’s late father, at their wedding.

While Kanye feels the absence of his mother’s life daily, he’s making sure that his daughter, North West, doesn’t go through a similar sadness. Yeezy told Q magazine North comes first in his life, and that he has “to have six hours a day with her because otherwise, I’ll just work and she’ll get scheduled around meetings. Instead, the meetings get scheduled around her.”

Wow! That proves that Kanye west is one of the best Hollywood Dads around! It’s sad that her grandchildren won’t get to know Donda. However, we think she would clearly be proud of how her son is turning out to be such a great father and a wonderful husband!
