Footballers struggle to sell homes because no one else can afford them

The multi-million pound mansions of footballers and their other halves are the envy of most, but apparently no-one wants to buy them.

But the sportsmen – including Cristiano Ronaldo, Emile Heskey and Wes Brown – struggle to sell on the top properties when they transfer.
Luxury home: The top property was originally on the market for £4.5million, but the couple have cut the price tag down to just £3million in hope of selling

The area around Wilmslow, Knutsford, Prestbury and Alderley Edge boasts five of the 10 most expensive streets in the North West.
