Ibori Started His ‘Stealing Career’ In A London Hardware Store As A Cashier – Video By BBC

Before he ever became a governor in Nigeria, James Ibori had been arrested in the early 90s in London where he was working as a cashier at Wickes hardware store. He was fired for allowing his wife to take out products worth £200 without paying. Ibori was also arrested the following year for using a stolen credit card. Today he was sentenced to 13 years in prison at a London court for money laundering and corruption charges.
