UROMI - The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Lucky James has showered praises on the transition committee chairman of Esan North East local government council Mr. Anslem Adima for executing people oriented projects across the local government.
Making the commendation when he visited the local government to inspect projects executed with the excess crude funds that have accrued to the council since 2011, the commissioner was particularly pleased with the even spread of the projects.
Chief James was equally pleased with the quality and pace of the projects.
He noted that leadership of the council had so far adhered strictly to the standard prescribed by the state government under the leadership of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
He thanked the legislators, Supervisors and other local government functionaries for their co- operation, which according to him made the feat possible.
Projects inspected by the commissioner included Ubierumu Health Centre, Ewoiyi primary school, Uromi Girls primary school, Uromi Central Library and Eror Health Centre.
Responding, the Esan North East Council Cchairman, Mr. Adima thanked the commissioner for the visit and pledged to sustain his efforts to transform the fortunes of the local government and its people.
