PDP Blasts Buhari, Says He's Unstable And Blood Thirsty

(Pm) –The PDP urges well-meaning Nigerians, especially Northern elders, to call Buhari to order and ask him to spare the nation his thirst for blood

The Peoples Democratic Party has again descended on former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, saying the leader of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change had become unstable and is being haunted by what it describes as “combat withdrawal syndrome.”

The party also described the retired army general as excesively blood thirsty.

In a hurriedly convened press conference, specially packaged to hurl insults at the former military leader, the PDP said Mr. Buhari is blood thirsty and accused him of inflaming the orgy of violence in the country.

Mr. Buhari was quoted as having declared on Monday that the Nigerian government, led by President Goodluck Jonathan of the ruling PDP, was the biggest supporter of the extremist Boko Haram sect.

Mr. Buhari also reportedly said the government was a greater plague to Nigerians than the terrorist Boko Haram who had been ravaging Nigeria with attacks, killing over 1,500 people since August 2009.

The ruling party’s spokesperson, Olisa Metuh, who addressed the conference, said Mr. Buhari’s frequent call for revolution portray him as one suffering from “Combat Withdrawal Syndrome.”

The PDP therefore advised the Federal Government to recall the retired general to the Army and make him the leader of the military mission being planned for Mali “to help him ease his quest for blood.”
