Chris Brown shuns Grammys red carpet as he and Rihanna both perform at show... three years after THAT domestic violence incident

Three years ago, the pre-Grammys celebrations took a turn for the dramatic when Chris Brown was arrested after assaulting his then girlfriend Rihanna.
The Beautiful People singer has avoided music’s biggest awards ceremony ever since, but tonight he made a comeback and performed at the star-studded event.
However despite his elaborate performance, the 22-year-old kept something of a low-profile and skipped the red carpet to head straight inside the venue.

Meanwhile his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, who is also performing at tonight’s ceremony, dazzled in a very revealing gown as she worked the cameras before heading inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, where the event was taking place.
She was wearing a black dress by Armani that boasted a very daring low-cut and a thigh-skimming spit up one side.
Rihanna performed hit single We Found Love, before taking to the stage with Coldplay to duet with them for Princess of China.
Chris sang his tune Beautiful people, which features Benny Bennassi, and new single Turn Up The Music, for the audience.

And Chris showed off his athletic skills as he jumped up and down a series of blocks lit with bright colours during the performance.
He was dressed simply in a grey and white varsity jacket emblazoned with the letter 'B', white trousers and shiny silver trainers.
The pair are both nominated for gongs at tonight’s bash, with Rihanna’s record Loud up for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.

The former order required Brown to stay 50 yards away from 23-year-old Rihanna, but the restriction was reduced to 10 yards if they were at a music industry event.
Rihanna is the owner of four Grammys, three with Jay-Z.
She alone won a Grammy last year for her No. 1 smash, Only Girl (In the World) for best dance recording.
