Khloe Kardashian is keeping the family tradition going - when in Dubai dress like locals.
On Tuesday the 30-year-old reality star shared selfies from Dubai with her hijab both on and off.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians actor was in the United Arab Emirates to appear at a hair event inside the Dubai World Trade Center.
She shared a photo with fans of herself donning the traditional hijab, a loose garment that covers the head and face with only the eyes being shown.
She made sure whatever was visible, looked beautiful, her eyes had the perfect makeup and nails long and painted.
Most women in the Middle East dress this way according to their religious and cultural beliefs, and although those who visit the country are not required to participate, Khloe decided to wear it and make a big deal about it.
The snapshot, captioned 'Habibi love,' drew some backlash from fans who weren't happy with the celeb wearing the hijab.
"This is disgustingly offensive," one user wrote, while another commented, "This woman should not be the role model of anyone especially not for Muslim women."
One also stated, "She's disregarding a cultural/religious symbol by appealing to her own commercial interest."
But then, Khloe is just keeping the tradition going.
