Another alleged victim named Laura Helm has also spoken out about the STD accusation, detailing the singer's odd behavior during their sexual encounter.
After a woman named Quantasia Sharpton made explosive claim against Usher amid their ongoing STD drama, an unidentified male accuser has now revealed a little detail about his sexual encounter with the singer. According to TMZ, the alleged victim claims that Usher exposed him to genital herpes after they had sex at a Koreatown spa in Los Angeles.
In response to the claim, the "Yeah!" hitmaker's attorney, Zia Modabber, has told the outlet, "Usher will defend himself vigorously in court against these opportunistic claims and we will not comment further on private legal matters."
Additionally, a woman, who was previously identified as Jane Doe, has now stepped forward in the legal battle. The woman is New Orleans-based jazz singer named Laura Helm, TMZ reports. She is suing the singer for $20 million for exposing her to herpes earlier this year.
In her very descriptive court documents, Laura alleges that she slept with Usher on two separate occasions. After the second encounter, which involved unprotected sex, the jazz musician found a pea-sized bump on her vagina and cheek.
The complaint further details Usher's allegedly bizarre behavior during the encounter. Laura claims that Usher, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, had showers before and after sex. In addition, he was reportedly scared to ejaculate in her presence. Laura reveals that he grabbed his penis and ran out of the room to ejaculate.
Laura initially asked for $10 million but later doubled it after she was diagnosed with Herpes Simplex 2 in July. She claims to have suffered "extreme and debilitating mental, emotional and physical distress and anguish, humiliation and embarrassment."
Usher has remained tight-lipped about the STD drama. Lisa Bloom, an attorney who acts for the three alleged victims, previously said during a press conference, "In these circumstances, which are unusual, if Mr. Raymond is negative, we call upon him to either contact all of his intimate partners since his diagnosis and notify them, or to make a public statement, so that people's minds can be put to rest."
