Reaction to Trump telling liberal lawmakers to leave US

President Donald Trump on Sunday criticized a group of non-white Democratic congresswomen in tweets and said they should leave the U.S. and go back to the countries "from which they came." The four women are American citizens and all but one was born in the U.S. "Mr. President, As Members of Congress, the only country we swear an oath to is the United States. ... You are stoking white nationalism bc you are angry that people like us are serving in Congress and fighting against your hate-filled agenda." — Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota on Twitter.
