After the multiple bombs that were detonated on Friday in various locations in Kano that killed more than 150 people (although the Federal Government reported 7), members of the violent islamic sect Boko Haram, dropped leaflets all over the city. Because our war is with the Government that is fighting Islam with the Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) that are killing Muslims even eating their flesh and those who helped them to fight us even if they are Muslims.

At least 143 people have been killed in multiple bomb blasts targeting security buildings in Nigeria's second largest city Kano last night.

At least 143 people have been killed in multiple bomb blasts targeting security buildings in Nigeria's second largest city Kano last night.

Initial reports suggested seven people had been killed in the attacks but that figure has now risen to 143 after more than 100 bodies were taken to the morgue at Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital in the city centre.

The attacks on police headquarters and security services head offices prompted the government to impose a dusk-to-dawn curfew in the city - which has a population of more than 10 million people. Police spokesman Olusola Amore said in a statement: 'At the moment, seven casualties have been confirmed from different locations of the attacks.'

The statement added that the police 'are doing their best to bring the situation under control' and are 'appealing to members of the public to come forward with information on the identity and location of these hoodlums'.

Pastor Tunde Bakare disowns by Save Nigeria Group

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole reduces fees in AAU, scraps levies

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday reduced fees in the state-owned Ambrose Alli University by N15,000, as part of palliatives to cushion the effect of the Federal Government’s removal of fuel subsidy.

In a statewide broadcast read at the Exco Chambers of the Government House, Benin, the governor also scrapped fees and levies in all public secondary schools; instituted free medical treatment for elderly citizens aged 70 and above; cut transport fares by 50 per cent for students and pupils and promised to provide mass transit buses.

Oshiomhole said these measures were among steps taken by his administration to make life more meaningful for the people after the removal of the subsidy.
