Former Miss USA Awarded $777,000 in Pregnancy Discrimination Lawsuit

This price is right for Brandi Cochran: $777,000.

The ex-Price Is Right model was awarded that amount after a Los Angeles jury determined Tuesday that the 41-year-old was wrongfully terminated from the show because of her pregnancy, according to published reports.

Cochran claimed she attempted to return to the program in 2010 after going on maternity leave but was turned away by producers.

To be exact, Cochran—a former Miss USA—won $776,944 (every dollar counts on The Price Is Right, right?) against the show's producers, and now a jury will deliberate whether the brunette beauty should be awarded punitive damages as well.
Her legal team is reportedly seeking upwards of $8 million.
